Imam Muhammad Davids

Imam Muhammad Davids, a respected figure in the Islamic community, served as the Imam of Masjid Dar al-Taqwa, located in Mirrabooka Western Australia (Perth). Originally hailing from Cape Town, South Africa, with roots in the Cape Malay heritage, Imam Davids demonstrated exceptional dedication to his faith from a young age by completing the memorization of the Holy Qur’an. His quest for knowledge led him to the prestigious Islamic University of Madinah, where he pursued further Islamic studies.

Imam Davids’s educational journey culminated in the attainment of a Bachelor of Arts degree in Islamic Jurisprudence from the University of Madinah. Following his graduation, he immersed himself in the vibrant atmosphere of Madinah, living and working there for another decade. His time in Madinah enriched his understanding of Islamic teachings, Shariah principles, and the Sirah (biography) of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

With over a decade of experience as a community Imam, Imam Davids has become well-versed in guiding and counseling individuals on matters of faith, spirituality, and religious practices. His expertise extends to leading Umrah and Hajj pilgrims, where he shares his knowledge and provides spiritual guidance during these sacred journeys.
