It has been related in a tradition of the Prophet ﷺ that whosoever knows himself will gain knowledge of God (Allah). In the heart of man, is the treasure of knowing his Creator. With so much preoccupation with the material world, man needs to occasionally pause to look inside himself to find such a treasure.
Once he understands his standing, in the realm of the Creations of God, he will then begin to have knowledge of the Almighty God. From an experiential knowledge of God will come the veneration and love of God and His Messenger. As Allah, the Exalted, has said, “It is only those who have knowledge among His slaves that fear Allah” (Qur’an 35:28).

About Speaker
Habib Kadhim bin Ja`far bin Muhammad al-Saqqaf is a highly esteemed scholar in the Sunni Islamic world, serving as a senior Ulama at Darul Mustafa Islamic University in Tarim. He is renowned for his expertise in various sacred sciences such as Jurisprudence, Prophetic Biography, Creed, Principles of Jurisprudence, and Hadith studies, particularly focusing on the teachings of Imam Abdullah Alawi al-Haddad.
Born in 1967 in Tarim, Yemen, Habib Kadhim belongs to the respected al-Saqqaf clan with a lineage tracing back to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. He received his education at renowned institutions like the school of Imam Muhammad Abu Murayyam and the Ribat of Tarim, studying under notable scholars.
After completing his education, he returned to Hadramawt to support the revival of Islam under Habib `Umar bin Hafiz’s guidance, holding leadership roles at various Ribats. Habib Kadhim is known for his extensive travels to spread knowledge and spirituality, touching hearts with his compassionate oratory and dedication to serving others.
