Entry requirements:

  • Knowledge of Qura’nic reading is necessary. For those who are interested in the course but do not fulfill the requirement may join the Learn to Recite Al-Qur’an course. Participants will have to bring their own Al-Qur’an.
Ustadh Burhanuddin

  • Ustadh Burhanuddin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Islamic Theology from Al-Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt, which he earned from 2009 to 2013. His educational journey also includes a Diploma in Islamic Studies from Madrasah Aljunied Al-Islamiah in Singapore (2007-2008) and GCE ‘O’ levels from Cambridge in 2007. His passion for teaching is reflected in his extensive experience as a private Quran tutor, and his involvement in Quran and Tajweed classes, including the Program Takrif Islam (PTI English) at PERGAS in 2022 and 2023. Moreover, he’s been an Executive Assistant to the Ambassador at the Embassy of Ireland in Singapore since April 2023, where he plays a pivotal role in managing the Ambassador’s schedule, maintaining contact lists, and overseeing administrative support for the embassy. Burhanudin’s multifaceted background and dedication to education and diplomacy make him a valuable asset in various spheres.
