Our Weekend Islamic School program has evolved to meet the demands of modern student life in Singapore. Through a blend of in-person and interactive online learning platforms, our students will engage in a dynamic educational experience.Guided by MUIS-certified Islamic teachers, our holistic curriculum is designed to cultivate virtuous, well-rounded Muslims. In-Person: 3hrs/session x 18 classes
Online: 2hrs/session x 18 classes
Holiday: 8hrs/session (9am to 5pm) x 5 days
Sessions for Holiday programs will be open June & December. Students will register for and attend 5 preferred sessions
Time: 9 am – 12 pm (In-person), 9 am – 11 am (Online Class)
Fees: $960 payable in full, or $80/month

Students are guided toward embodying honesty, compassion, humility, generosity, respect, and other noble qualities in their daily lives.

Established in 2006, the As-Siddiq Centre for Islamic Studies Pte Ltd (commonly known as SimplyIslam.sg) is a recognised Islamic education centre in Singapore, approved by the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (IECP). Our niche is Islamic education in the English language, delivered through various programs like the weekend Islamic school, seminars & public lectures with visiting Islamic scholars, Islamic arts initiatives and publications.SimplyIslam.sg is committed to the retention of tradition, culture and esteemed values whilst addressing contemporary challenges facing humanity today.
SimplyIslam Weekend Madrasah is a structured Islamic education program designed for children to learn the Qur’an, Islamic studies, values, and spirituality in a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate way.
We accept children from 5 – 16 years old, grouped according to age and learning level.
Students will learn:
Classes are held on weekends, Saturday & Sunday, 9am – 1pm, depending on your child’s level.
Our teachers are ARS certified Islamic educators trained in classical and contemporary Islamic sciences, experienced in teaching children with patience and compassion.
Classes are conducted in English, with some Arabic terms explained, to ensure understanding and accessibility for all students.
Yes, children are introduced to basic Qur’anic Arabic through recitation, vocabulary, and understanding key Islamic terms.

The annual fee is $960 (January – December), inclusive of June and December holidays.Upon registration, fees are calculated as follows:
Example (Jan & Feb 2026): 2 months ($80 × 2 = $160) + One-time registration fee ($50) + 5% Stripe processing fee.
We don’t encourage in-class observation to avoid distraction, but we provide progress reports and parent-teacher meetings to keep parents involved.
We combine traditional Islamic knowledge with a modern, engaging approach. Our focus is not only on learning facts but on instilling values, spirituality, and love for Islam in children’s daily lives.
The holiday program is not mandatory, but we highly encourage students to participate, as various interactive programs have been arranged for their benefit.
Since attendance for holiday programs is not compulsory, there are no repercussions for incomplete participation.
To respect our teachers’ privacy, we won’t create a parent-teacher group chat. However, communication is facilitated through our student portal, ensuring a seamless connection between students and teachers. Parents are not required to sign up; the madrasah management will handle student enrollment for the online portal.

Online lessons are conducted live, and recorded footage will be uploaded to the student portal after each session.
Our holiday programs are conducted in person.
Lunch is available for purchase, but students can also bring their own meals.
Yes, there will be break times during in-person classes.
The holiday program is already included in the current fee structure. However, parents should note that there will be additional charges for miscellaneous fees and meals.
Parents can inform the school admin directly and register for other available sessions.
Although there’s a change in madrasah hours, the total contact hours in a year remain unchanged with the addition of holiday programs.
No, we do not offer trial classes. Our programme follows a structured curriculum and learning progression, so all students begin together to ensure consistency and continuity in their learning journey.
We do not provide make-up or replacement classes for any missed sessions. This helps us maintain a consistent schedule for both students and teachers.
For the safety, security, and privacy of our students, we do not allow visits to view the premises. Please be assured that we take the wellbeing of every child seriously and maintain a safe, controlled learning environment at all times.
