Bismillah! We warmly invite you to a beautiful and spiritually uplifting gathering for the recitation of Dala’il al-Khayrat. This gathering is free of charge and open to all, regardless of background or experience. Come as you are, and join us in sending abundant blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Dala’il al-Khayrat is one of the most widely recited collections of salawat upon the Prophet ﷺ in the Muslim world. Its purpose is simple yet profound; to help us fulfill the divine command found in the Qur’an:
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَمَلَـٰٓئِكَتَهُۥ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِىِّ ۚ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ صَلُّوا۟ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا۟ تَسْلِيمًا
“Indeed, Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet. O you who believe, send blessings upon him and peace.” (Qur’an 33:56).
Reciting salawat regularly is not only an act of obedience, but a means of drawing closer to the Prophet ﷺ and attaining Allah’s Divine Mercy.
There are countless blessings in sending salawat. The Prophet ﷺ promised that those who do so will have their sins forgiven, worries removed, and duas accepted. He also said that the closest to him on the Day of Judgement will be those who send the most blessings upon him. By attending this gathering, you are stepping into a sacred tradition; one that softens the heart, nourishes the soul, and brings barakah into your life, Insha’Allah.
Whether you’re familiar with Dala’il al-Khayrat or it’s your first time, this gathering is a chance to reconnect with the Prophet ﷺ, with your purpose, and with a community of remembrance. About Imam Al-Jazuli, the Author of Dala’il Al-Khayrat:
The author is the Sufi, Wali, Muslim scholar of prophetic descent, Muhammad ibn Sulayman al-Jazuli. Born in the 9th Hijri century, he was raised among the Gazulah Berbers of the Sus region in southern Morocco. After studying the Qur’an and gaining traditional Islamic knowledge, he travelled to Fez where he met scholars of his time such as Ahmad Zarruq, and Muhammad ibn ‘Abdullah Amghar, who became his sheikh in the tariqa or Sufi path.
His spiritual path drew thousands of disciples who, aided by the popularity of his manual of Blessings on the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace), had a tremendous effect on Moroccan society. He taught followers the Blessings upon the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace), extinction of self in the love of Allah and His messenger. He was told by the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) in a dream, ”I am the splendor of the prophetic messengers, and you are the splendor of the awliya.“
