\nRecites a poem<\/p>\n
“That today for my mother
\nI am like an obedient animal
\nAnd if anything was to scare or stop me
\nToday I will stand steadfast”<\/p>\n
Then he approaches Abdullah Ibn Umar
\nAnd he asked him
\n“Tell me,
\nI have carried my mother on my back
\nTravelled from Yemen
\nAnd completed every ritual of Haj
\nAnd I have carried my mother on my back
\nFor longer than the period
\nShe had carried me in his womb
\nTell me,
\nHave I earned my right?
\nHave I fulfilled my responsibilities?”
\nOf serving mother
\nHave I fulfilled that right?<\/p>\n
And Abdullah Ibn Umar says
\n“No! Oh my brother
\nYou have not even completed one breath
\nThat your mother has taken
\nAt the time of your birth.
\nYou have not even completed that”<\/p>\n
And within those countless pages of history

\nAnd within that countless count
