\n<\/embed><\/object><\/p>\n <\/p>\nAnd here’s a poem on “Our Rightful Heroines”:<\/p>\nTrue, sincere, believing women of the past\nWho in their lives remained faithful and steadfast\nAmazing were they, those women who believed\nWho hastened to the truth as the Qur\u2019an was revealed\nTo forever leave behind the old, ignorant ways\nPassed down by their forefathers, in the bygone days\nAccepting the truth, in utter awe of their lord\nMemorizing His divine pearls, word by word<\/p>\nKhadija Al-Kubra<\/strong>, the Prophet’s most beloved\nUpon her, wealth and wisdom was bestowed\nHer wealth, she flourished generously on the poor\nHer wisdom helped the Prophet believe in the noor<\/em>\nThe light of the angels who brought glad tidings\nOf prophethood, a lifetime full of blessings\nShe was one of the first Muslims who believed\nWhilst the majority had refused and rejected\nAlthough, Islam\u2019s early days did she pass away\nIn the Prophet\u2019s heart and memory she did stay<\/p>\nRare women today who like\u00a0Fatima Az-Zahra<\/strong>\nThe youngest daughter of Khadija Al-Kubra\nAs a little girl, she bravely helped her father\nFrom the disbelievers, when he was in prayer\nWhilst they mocked, she stood firm to protect\nWhat she believed in and her father, the noble Prophet\nShe grew up to be most patient in all her burden\nSo rightfully earned, she was promised the garden<\/p>\nThe memory of\u00a0Summayyah<\/strong>, within us it still remains\nThe first martyr of Islam as she endured all pains\nAbu Jahl did beat her as she lay on the blazing sand\nWhy she strongly held onto Islam he could not understand\nThe truth that Summayyah saw was hidden from his eyes\nWith sabr<\/em>, she refused once and again to believe in his lies\nInfuriated to the limit, Abu Jahl lunged forward his spear\nPutting an end to her life, and she welcomed it without fear\nTo meet Allah Almighty, to enter the highest rank in Jannah\nAn end to her suffering, a start of a new beginning<\/p>\nAisha Bint Abi-Bakr<\/strong>, the greatest scholar of all time\nSo gifted with knowledge was she, beyond the boundary\nPeople came looking for her, from all over the country\nTo benefit from her ilm<\/em>, to hear her advice\nLearning from the Prophet, she came to be wise\nShe turned to Allah, when she was wronged in slander\nAll around the city of Makkah, tongues did wander\nAllah came to her aid, as He knew her to be pure\nAs mother of the believers, she did remain true<\/p>\nMentioned in the Quran, is\u00a0Maryam Bint Imran<\/strong>\nAllah\u2019s chosen \u201cabove all women of the world\u201d\nMother of Prophet Isa, the purest of all women\nAllah provided for her when she was in seclusion\nLiving only for Him, she was in His protection\nObedient was she when she was told to leave\nAll her people behind, in order to conceive\nIn her chastity, a baby boy, a most unique miracle\nAnd patient was she, when she came back to her people\nMocking her that she had disgraced her noble family\nJesus in the cradle had spoken words of true reality\nPreached as a baby, a sign of his mother\u2019s purity\nNo doubt, Maryam was unique in every way\nAnd will indeed remain so, until the last day<\/p>\nLast but not least is\u00a0Asiya<\/strong>, wife of Pharaoh\nOne of the four most perfect women in Islam\nWho had adopted Musa, his life she had saved\nWith the will of Allah, like a son he\u2019d been loved\nTo grow up in Firaun\u2019s eyes, his future untold\nHe had guided Asiya, pulled her into the fold\nOf truth, to believe in the Oneness of the Creator\nInstead of Pharaoh, a most deceitful transgressor\nTo Allah only she did seek His help in desperation\nWhen she went against her husband, for protection\nHoping to reside in paradise with Allah Almighty<\/p>\nOh how true were the believing women of Islam\nTo their Lord and Creator, with strong, solid Iman\nThey are many, and they all command a sense of respect\nThey lived their lives righteously, with little regret\nFighting all temptations of life, to live for Allah<\/p>\nWhat happened then to the Muslimahs of today?\nWhy are they throwing their precious deen away?\nThe deen in which women are most honored\nA gift from Allah Most High that is sacred\nO Allah, I ask you to open their eyes to see\nHow truly blessed in Islam they could be..<\/p>\nBy Fatiha Sh.
