By now, news of Katya Koren being stoned to death for going against Shariah law are widespread. It has angered Muslims and non-Muslims alike. \u00a0The Daily Mail reported that 3 Muslim youths were responsible for the murder. One of the three suspects, named as 16-year-old Bihal Gaziev, was quoted as telling police that Katya had “violated the laws of Sharia,” and that he has no regrets about her death.<\/p>\n
Now, Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People Chairman Mustafa Abd\u00fclcemil Q\u0131r\u0131mo\u011flu, commonly known as Mustafa Cemilo\u011flu in Turkey, said the detained teenager, who is of Crimean Tatar descent, was pressured by police into accepting the blame for the murder.
