Bushra lana nilnal-muna,
zalal-‘ana wafal-hana
Wad-dahru anjaza wa’dahu,
wal-bishru adha mu’lana
Glad tidings for us, we have attained our highest wish
troubles have ceased, and well-being has come.
Destiny (or: history) has delivered what was promised,
and joy has become manifest everywhere.
Ya nafsu tibi bil-liqa,
ya ‘ainu qarriya a’yuna
Hadha jamalul Mustafa,
anwaruhu lahatlana
O soul, enjoy the pleasure in the meeting
O eye, feel comfort
This is the beauty of the Chosen one
His lights shine over us.
Ya taybatu madha naqul,
wa fika qad halla rasul
Wa kulluna yarjul wusul,
li Muhammdin nabiyyina
O blessed earth – we have no words –
in which the Messenger rests!
We all wish to be united
with Muhammad, our Prophet.
Ya rawdatal hadi shafi,
wa sahibayhi wal-baqi’
Uktub lana nahnu i-jami’,
ziaratan linabiyyina
Oh garden (Rawda) of the Guide and Advocate
And his two companions, and al-Baqi3!
(O Lord) ordain for us all
that we may visit our Prophet.
Haithul-amani rahduha,
qad zhalla hulwu-mujtana
Wa bil habibil Mustafa,
safa wa taba ‘ayshuna
Oh garden (Rawda) of the Guide and Advocate
And his two companions, and al-Baqi!
(O Lord) ordain for us all
that we may visit our Prophet.
Salli wa sallim ya salam,
‘alan-nabi, badri thamam,
Wal’ali wasahbil-kiram,
sallah ‘aleyhim rabbun
Send blessings and peace, O Lord of Peace,
Upon the Prophet, the fullmoon of perfection
And upon his Noble Family and Companions
Send blessings over them, o our Lord
