In the Name of Allah?, Most Beneficent, Most Merciful,
Peace & blessings be upon the Jewel of Creation, Sayyidina Muhammad?.

Assalaamu’alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

Ramadan is soon coming to a close. We thank Allah ? for giving us the opportunity to meet Ramadan once more, and giving us the health and strength to perform good deeds in this blessed month. We pray that Allah ? does not let this month pass without our deeds being accepted, our past sins being forgiven and that His entire creation be granted His Divine Mercy. May we remain steadfast and be given a long and healthy life to meet the next Ramadan inshaAllah. Ameen!

While we celebrate this joyous occasion with our loved ones, let us remember our brethren who may have lost family members, lost homes and facing other trials and challenges, in Singapore and abroad like the Rohingyas, Syrians, Palestinians, and the world over. Indeed the ummah is one body and we remember them in our prayers always, and especially during holy days like Eid. May Allah ? grant them relief and ease.

The Management, Staff, Teachers, Students and Volunteers at SIMPLYISLAM.SG wish you a blessed Eidul Fitr, Selamat Hari Raya. Eid Mubarak!

In celebrating Eid, allow me to remind myself and us all on increasing salawat or salutations upon Sayyidina Muhammad ?. Allah ? says in the Holy Qur’an: “Verily Allah and His angels shower blessings on the Prophet. O, Believer! Send blessings upon him and salute him with a worthy salutation.” (Qur’an 33:56).

Imam Tirmidhi related from Abdullah bin Mas’ud (ra) that the Messenger of Allah ? said “the closest people to me on the Day of Resurrection will be those who invoked the most blessings upon me.”

We wish you taqabbala Allah minna wa minkum (May Allah accept (good deeds) from us and from you). At the same time we seek your forgiveness for all our shortcomings. Minal aidin wal faidzin (May you be among those who return to purity and among those granted glory).Kullum am wa antum bikhair (May you be well throughout the year). Ameen Ya Rabbal ‘Alamin.
